Fruit Teas


There are various ways that you can enjoy fruit teas. Some, for example, are standard black or green teas to which a fruit extract has been added. So, for example, you could drink tea with mango, apple or strawberry added to it.

Other fruit teas are so-called ‘herbal’ teas. Here there is no real tea involved so there is no caffeine content to worry about. The tea here is made from fruit and other natural ingredients.

Often - with herbal teas - you will find that the tea leaves or tea bags won’t just offer one fruit. So, for example, you may drink a teas that is made from strawberry and mango or orange and lemon. In other cases herbal teas will mix fruit content with something else. So, for example, you could try a honey, lemon and ginger tea or a green tea with goji berries.

In most cases people drink fruit teas because they like the taste or because they want an alternative to drinking coffee and standard teas. Some people like to drink fruit teas because they are healthier. So, for example, a green tea with berries will be a good source of antioxidants and apple or orange teas would be useful as a source of vitamin C.
